French Timber, association formed in 2001 at the initiative of the "Fédération Nationale du Bois" and a group of French sawmills, pursues two goals: To promote the use of the different French sawn timber species and processed wood products and to ease supplies to foreign companies.

Glenmere Timber has been importing quality hardwoods for over forty years. Ideally situated on two large sites in the centre of the United Kingdom, daily deliveries are made to many different types of hardwood consumers nationwide and overseas. Our sawmill has been designed to enable us to offer both a large variety of species (Oak, Douglas Fir & Softwood) and also a wide range of lengths (up to 40'0). Whilst we can offer long runs of more normal specifications we can also offer more unusual, non-standard sections on a one-off basis. We work closely with a local hauler and can cover most of the U.K. on a next day basis for items from stock.
